Q.
Hi, my boy is 2years and 9 months old. He is an active child but does not speak much. he barely speaks few words like mumma, papa, dadi, bhai, chachu etc but he doesn't speak full complete sentence. Is dere anything to worry?? what should I do?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. no this is not normal but at the same time you'll have to see that the understanding of the child is proper or not and if the understanding and following the commands is normal then there is no need to worry speech will gradually develop but if it is not then kindly meet your doctor

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children4 years agoA. good afternoon it is absolutely normal nothing to be worried about every recommend you to be patient wait for a couple of more months keep communicating with the child in small sentences so that the baby is able to repeat them
