KajalGuardian of a 1 m old boy3 weeks agoA. contact your baby's healthcare provider immediately, especially if they're losing more than 10% or not regaining weight by 2 weeks. They'll check for feeding issues .

Up to 500 g after birth because of jaundice and improper feeding is common but it is usually seen that kids gain that weight very quickly within the first month of birth because it’s important that the child should gain 500 g every month if that is not seen with the child then you can of course give formula to the child
