Q.

Hi, My baby is 75 days old. He breastfeed for 5 minutes, after that unlatches and refuses to drink more. From birth he use to have for 5 minutes. Consulted with lactation during initial days also. My concern is, does he get sufficient milk in 5 minutes?

A. hi dear mom feeding pattern and frequency varies from baby to baby some baby are fast feeders and are done in a few minutes if baby is active alert passing urine 6 to 8 times in 24 hours is gaining adequate weight then do not worry

Q. My 3 month old baby unlatches in 5 mins and cries and goes back to breast everytime when i breastfeed. After unlatching if I give the breast he drinks for 5 more min and unlatches again and cries..What is the reason for crying after unlatching...I see this behavior only for the past 10 days...Is he is not hungry that is why he drinks and unlatches in 5 mins but why does he cries and goes back to breast again and drink for sometime and cries again? what should I do in this case?.can anyone help to understand this behavior?
