Q.
hi my baby is 48 days old suddenly her voice changed from yesterday night while crying its different like our voice like when we have so much of cold our voice changes naa like that and I have given my baby gripe water night and we also used a new heater in our room as it is very cold here we stay in overseas pls kindly answer my question thank you

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician4 years agoA. hello parent do not worry, ur baby 2 m old , it may be due to nose block u may give nasoclear nasal drops along with indirect steam inhalation fo liquefying the mucous secretions, keep the room warm and cosy

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. it is advisable to give only nasal saline drops because the salt water will help in decreasing the cogestion which is present in the throat as well as nasal cavity and it is not advisable to give gripe water to the child but only e breastfeeding. also you can go for indirect steam inhalation which will again help in decreasing the the swelling which is present in the throat due to the congestion
