Hi, My baby is 4 and half months old and weighs 5.2 kg. Birth weight was 2.4 kg. Is it normal?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. your baby is having very good weight if it take the birth weight of the baby into consideration since the birth weight will become two X the end of 5 months of age

Uma RamMom of a 7 yr 2 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello good afternoon !! Urs baby weight is fine based on birth weight nothing to worry . Observe baby milestones by 3-4 months baby develop social smile, recognize mother voice, reacting to sounds, giving eye contact,roll over, holding head , cycling exercise . Give frequent feeds every two hours exclusive breast milk or formula milk untill 5 completed months start semi solids once a day from 6 month onwards.
