Hi My baby is 2yr old he always runs not walk calmly sometimes when he get excited he runs on his toes this making me scared, and he started rotating his head side by side while running and sometimes while sitting should i worry? is it autism? speaking skill is good he can speak 300+ words and communicate his needs.

A. Hello good afternoon !! Running hopping being active most of the day is quite common in toddlers don't worry . As baby is good at speech, check other milestones of fine and gross motor skills, sensory development, cognitive skills like understanding emotions/expressions, recognising colours, sorting out fruits, vegetables or any toys, holding toys, arranging toys or any blocks, giving direct eye contact , responding to commands, mingling with same age kids then no need to worry. Other wise consult developmental paediatrician for assessment.
