Q.

Hi, my baby is 16month old, he have high fever all of a sudden n had given calpol, n after one hr its reduced n after 5 hrs again I feel high temperature n going the dose. But pls do suggest.

A. Dr., his fever is 102., n providing him calpol., stil it's between 100 to 103 temperature. today is 2nd day., need to continue with calpol or any change in medicine? n hardly reduces the temperature., n one of my flatmate recommending for mfthal sumthing..., so can u suggest us. bcz without Dr suggestion can't proceed

A. the baby is more than one year of age you can treat the fever temporary with calpol drops what you are giving to the baby 3 to 4 times a day depending on the need

Q. #asktheexperts my son is 6yr 10month n weight is 17kg. he had fever ncold cough last week. I gave him calpol 250 n relent for 2 days n fever subside.. he has productive cough n nt spitting it. yest evening he got fever n I gave him calpol 250 den after sometime he took milk .later midnight he had high fever n vomiting. again I gave calpol n temp lowered.vomited with regular intervals. again he got fever in morning at around 103° he is not drinking or eating anything since night. taking medicine with difficulty.
