Q.
Hi ! My baby has a sacral dimple and a scan report showed that he has a small cyst but no spina bifidia or any connection to neural part. The doctor suggested a MRI scan for my 15 days old baby. He moves his hands and legs fine ,with good bowel movements I was scared as MRI requires my baby to be under anesthesia...he is 45 days old now and I still don't see any abnormalities...is it ok if I don't do the MRI ?

Hi.. am a mother of a 8month old boy baby and we noticed a bulge at his back since birth.. although his movements and bowel system is fine even now, but have got an mri wen he was 2month old, report said it’s spina bifida, and now at hospital for his surgery in Bangalore .. am not scaring you but it’s better if you get an mri to rule out further implications.. and my suggestion would be not to give any sort of Anastasia until he is 6month old.. even doctor will not prefer it.. if you need any more further details pls connect to me .. thanks
