Q.

Hi! My baby girl is 2 yrs 8 month old. She gets hiccups from birth which goes by its own within few minutes.Yesterday she got hiccups in the morning which lasted for 15 minutes. After giving water, granulated sugar it went away. Next hiccups she got in the noon after having lunch which lasted for 5 minutes. Next hiccups she got in the evening which lasted for 2 minutes...She complained that feels like vomitting and was given water and it went away...This happens sometimes in a month...What is the reason for this? Is it a problem? Is it because of acidity? Please pour ur suggestions...Thank you in advance.

A. Hello mom hiccups generally occurs when the food or water enters the windpipe instead of the food pipe , also if the position of the child is not straight while eating , or is eating too fast , now chewing and swallowing her food well enough
