Q.

Hi, My baby girl is 2 months + 24 days old. I exclusively pump breastmilk for her and sometimes formula if the breastmilk isn't sufficient during that day. She isn't drinking much milk, the max she would go is up to 90/120ml one meal. I feed her around 6 times a day in which she drinks from 80-90ml on an average. She's peeing normally and poops every 3-4 days. Is it normal or should I seek our pediatrician's guidance to know if everything is normal with our baby?

A. in first six months the minimum weight gain should be 500 mg per month and it can go up to 1 kg per month also. the urine outputt should be more than 6 to 7 times per day. the child should sleep after taking feeding. meet the doctor for weight assessment. if the above criteria is achieved then the child is having adequate milk intake. if the growth off the child is proper there is no need to worry about the sleeping pattern/ feeding as well as the stool frequency of the child
