Q.
Hi my babu got fever since today morning, she is 8 months old she got 1001.6 fever. I gave her paracetamol but fever still did not go

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. just paracetamol for the fever now. Fever is when the temperature is more then 99 degree . Paracetamol can be given for the fever every 6 hourly of fever is reoccurring frequently. Fever may be due to any viral infection so mostly will subside in 3 days other wise consult a doctor near by.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. Fever is a defense against infection. Your child's body is raising its temperature to kill the germs. In most cases it's harmless and goes away on its own in 3 days.
