Q.

Hi My 7-month-old daughter prefers khichdi made of rice and moong dal but sometimes refuses it. She also doesn’t like mashed carrots, mashed potatoes, Cerelac, or chapati soaked in dal. Even when she eats, she takes only half a spoon and then refuses more. Additionally, she refuses to drink water from a bottle, cup, glass, or spoon. How can I encourage her to eat a variety of solids and drink water? Are there any tips or alternative foods I can try?

A. Just do some fun activities while feeding her. Don't force her. It might be time consuming but play around and try to feed

A. Ma’am when child likes to have khichadi or Dalia you should just get vegetable mixed with it you should actually grind them to that extended a child cannot even figure out whether there is a vegetable into it and that’s what you can give you add salt and spices Desi butter into that don’t make it proper whole some flavour and for water kids are like that so sometimes you ORS into that you can give some butter milk you can give coconut water as water is tasteless a lot of kids just denied it
