Q.
hi my 4.5 months old baby didn't pass the stool from last 4 days can I know what is the reason? he is on exclusive breast feed I am getting doubt a wheather he is getting enough milk or not ? please advise

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. in first six months the minimum weight gain should be 500 mg per month and it can go up to 1 kg per month also.
the urine output should be more than 6 to 7 times per day. the child should sleep after takinsg feeding.
meet the doctor for weight assessment.
if the above criteria is achieved then the child is having adequate milk intake.
if the growsth of the child is proper there is no need to worry about the sleeping pattern/ feeding as well as the stool frequency of the child
