Q.

Hi mam, In my NT scan and double marker test the risk for down syndrome is too low. In my Anomaly scan the dr saw mild renal pelviectasis and ARSA condition and said that two soft markers are there so there can be a less chance for down syndrome but 90% the baby will be healthy. The doctor also said that the baby have a good nasal bone and nuchal fold. I am afraid if there is high chance for down syndrome. Can you say your opinion about this. How much chance is there for my baby to have down syndrome

A. The kind of concern you have maximum women have after getting a reboot like this but there is no hundred percent sure that the child is going to be down syndrome in most of the cases despite of having a child completely mental mentally and physically healthy there’s no down syndrome no nothing at all but at the end of the day what you decide what you want to look for in terms of clarity you can take a second opinion with a gynaecologist in person
