Q.

Hi Mam I got thyroid during pregnancy and now my baby is 6 months old. Currently, i am taking 10 mg thyroxine and i got thyroid test normal after 3 months of delivery but i had not stopped the medicine . My concern is when i can stop taking medicine of thyroid? Thanks Srishti

A. If the thyroid profile is within normal limits because of the medication then you have to continue it. If it is a reducing a lot then you might need to change the dose Write Your Answer Here

A. once consult your gynaecologist for routine check up and do all routine investigation required and start treatment as advised by your doctor sometimes one year. sometimes whole life. depends upon sign and symptoms
