Q.

hi.... last week my son (3 yrs) had cold, consulted Dr, he gave medicines for 5 days.after that he was fine..today morning he is having slight running nose.is this normal?

A. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated . Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine . As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful . Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be uhtsed in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms . Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

A. Hello dear parent! Try giving indirect steam inhalation. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug cold pressed coconut oil for skin warmth. Give warm water and warm freshly prepared homemade foods. Consult your child’s doctor for evaluation and advice.
