Q.

hi. I m having not enough breast milk for my baby. how to increase breast milk or can I give supplementary food to her. how much time should I give. now I giving ragi porridge three times then she is eating her fingers and always crying. wat to do

A. Hello dear parent! Ideally semi solids should be given to the baby only after 6 months completion. Till then the baby should be either exclusively breastfed or formula fed only. Baby licking fingers is a normal finding in small babies due to teething or just exploring body parts, might not necessarily be due to hunger. Consult your doctor for further advice.
