Hi. I’m a mother of a 3 month old baby girl. I have a very gassy and colicky baby. Although I am a little skeptical of giving her gripe water as I’m getting mixed opinions. My sister gave her sons gripe water and they had absolutely no issue. Me and my sister had been given gripe water when we were young too, and found it works wonderfully. Why is it considered bad to give gripe water??

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician2 years agoA. Giving gripe water is not necessary to babies at any age, because of it certain ingredients.If the baby is having gases or colics you can try Colicaid drops.
Burp properly after each feeding is important.
