Hi I'm a father of 4 month old boy. My question is about vaccination. I have given him government approved vaccination at government aaganwadi kendra. Which is as follow 1. (Birth) Opv Bcg Hep B 2. (1.5 month) Opv Pcv Fipv Rota Penta 3. (2.5 month) Opv Rota Penta 4.( 3.5 month) Opv Pcv Fipv Rota Penta Next schedule for vaccine will be in 9 months of baby age. My question is Is he need other vaccine or not? Should i have to follow IAP vaccine schedule or follow government vaccine programme? 0r i have to add some IAP vaccine in government programmed vaccine. Please guide.

ExpertDr. Gunjan BawejaPaediatrician4 years agoA. hello there are vaccines like typhoid chickenpox and hepatitis A and some more which are not given under givt schedule but are given in private. so you can get then done after discussion with your pediatrician.
