Hi, I have been using Cerave Acne control face wash as I had a lot of hormonal acne during my pregnancy. I just came across a few articles that say that using face wash/cream with Salicylic acid it is not safe for the baby? Is that true?

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 2 years agoA. salicylic acid you are using it is not harming the baby if using to the baby it is not indicator so nothing to worry and you can continue using the face wash

Hello this would require a proper medical investigation and it is better to check with your doctor and he will be able to guide u accordingly which should be better and also safe too and based on the condition he can advise you accordingly which is safe too
