Q.
Hi, i have a 21 days old boy baby. Initially due to c section delivery and no milk supply i couldn’t feed for first 3days, used lactogen for feed. Later milk supply was low still tried to breast feed but due to flat nipple my baby couldnt latch or i dunno i got sore nipple, so doctor suggested to take nipple shield. Now am feeding my baby with nipple shield is it okay ?

Author of questionMom of a 4 yr 3 m old boy4 years agoA. Thank you for your response, could you suggest me a good nipple shield for a new born who s 21days old. Currently am using chicco brand : S-M size nipple shield. Pls respond ASAP.

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children4 years agoA. good evening yes definitely there is no problem in using a nipple shield for feeding the baby is more important to make sure the baby is having mothers milk that is the most important element till 6 months
