Q.

hi, I have 13 month old baby, having brestmilk. today I take covid vaccine. Now someone told me it is not safe to take vaccine while breastfeeding, please help and advice.

A. Hi I asked my gynae.. its fine you can take with 1+ year baby.. consultant a doc... in government guidelines its mentioned that gynae can decide based on risk benefit ratio

A. I was not aware that I can not take this vaccine.

A. Hi Well I would just like to tell you that the guidelines issued by the government are specifically and strictly for pregnant women and lactating mother that they cannot have this vaccination so if you are breastfeeding you shouldn’t have gone for it but now you will not be able to breastfeed your child for at least 10 to 15 days till the time you have side-effects and after that also can you continue or you can not that your paediatrician can advise you better
