hi i had been detected with thyroid during my first trimester of pregnancy n was suggested to take thyronorm tablet again repeated the test in second and third trimister and it was within range but was still advised to continue the medication my baby is 5 months old and i was taking the tablet till last month but from 1 month i didnt tablet does it effect my baby as she s completly on breadfeed

A. It is better that you get your thyroid profile done once again now that you have stopped taking the medication and see how the levels are. If the levels are fine then wait for another two months and repeat the test againWrite Your Answer Here
