Q.

Hi, I am breastfeeding mother. At our place (in-laws) we eat dal rice on a daily basis. Vegetables are rarely cooked. Will only dal rice help me make enough milk. As my baby only keeps crying and is super cranky. Is it because of hunger. I am daily in lactare and Shatavari. Please suggest.

A. Siri please do not mind me saying it but that’s a very unhealthy practices to have rice and that it is not sufficient for anybody neither for an adult nor for a child and if you are going to bring up your child and your child will never be able to adjust with any kind of vegetables so you should make at least one different vegetables every day with your Dal and rice and the concept of roti or Chapati should also be there it’s very important to get all necessary nutrients and supplements and it’s good for the child as well
