#asktheexperts hi I am 4 months postpartum. Initially I had bleeding for 45 days post of c section. Then next month I had my periods but I didn’t get my periods for December and Jan month for past one and a half month. I also checked my pregnancy test it was negative so What could be the reason?

A. Hormonal disturbance these things are possible to be seen and also sometimes it can happen due to improper diet and all if it is not pregnancy then it is usually associated with disturbance in hormones so I would advise you to kindly consult your gynaecologist once

A. Hello! Irregularities in periods is very normal post delivery due to hormonal changes. Better to check with your consulting gynaecologist to get to know safer contraceptive options. Maintain a good personal hygiene routine and a healthy lifestyle.
