A. many times and the most common cause would be due to accumulation of milk clots and sometimes it can be neurogenic pain and sometimes it might be a part any local mass like lymph nodes or tissue pain. if it is not impproving with simple massage as well as simple hot compresses and expression of accumulated milk then meet your doctor at the earliest for local examination. you can take paracetamol for pain.

A. Applying ice packs to the breasts reduces the swelling and pain. Drink water and increase your intake of fluids to prevent dehydration and fever. Place fresh and cold cabbage leaves over your breasts. Replace the leaves when they wilt.

A. Take a warm shower or soak yourself in a tub of warm water. A hot compress can also give relief from pain. Use a breast pump if your breasts feel too full. Lightly press your breasts to release the milk. Or massage your breasts gently while taking a warm shower.
