Hi Gd morning, My baby is 2 month old now,when I got my 1st period after delivery it's took 20 days to complete my period cycle with heavy flow.. Now my periods came and today is the 8 day of my period & still going heavy blood flow. so what should I do. is this normal?

ExpertDr.Deepinder Kaur DhawanObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. its very important to consult your gynaecologist as soon as possible to start medications to stop bleeding..if required..do all routine investigation including ultrasound scan to see any retained clots in uterus

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 9 m old boy4 years agoA. hello some mums will get back with period within two months or immediately after the delivery and also with the flow it can be heavier and it can last a little longer it is normal and nothing to worry and any concern it would be better to check with your gynecologist
