Hi Experts, seeking a response to my query, kindly answer. My new born baby was given BCG on 2nd day of her birth in hospital.We dint see any scar on her arm all these days, we are seeing a big pimple like mark on her left shoulders after a month now. is it okay if BCG is given on the shoulder rather than forearm ?

A. Hello mom All the vaccinations are important for babies and should be given on time. So don’t miss a single vaccination. You should consult with your doctor and provide all the vaccination to your baby on time and baby should be totally on mother’s milk. You need to give anything else to 6 months.

Q. I gave Biovac A vaccine (which is Live Attenuated Hepatitis A Vaccine) to my baby on 12 months of age... Pediatrician said that 2nd dose of Biovac A vaccine ( Live Attenuated Hepatitis A Vaccine) should also be taken. But I know that 2nd dose of Hepatitis A vaccine is required/recommended only for Inactivated hepatitis A vaccines (As per IAP guidelines). Now tell me what to do ? Kindly give a response /reply /answer about my query.
