Q.

Hi Experts, I had vaccinations for my daughter through government hospitals, the first dose of pcv I had through private hospital and the second dose I had from government hospitals.My concern is that private hospital recommend 3 doses of pcv and government hospitals recommend only 2 doses of pcv vaccination.so do I need to give 3rd shot of pcv vaccination to my daughter?

A. it is advisable to go for the 3rd dosage because that will give proper immunity to the child. also the government is giving only subcutaneous dose and at the private setup you are being given intramuscular dose.
