Q.

Hi everyone, My baby is one month old, since birth his sole of the feet and nail beds of palms are purple color,we checked the oxygen saturation which showed normal, baby’s feet and hand are extremely cold to touch,I always put mittens and socks to him, the Color of feet does change from purple to pink when it gets warmer, but the the palms nail bed stays purple, I read on google , is it something related to heart disease? Or is it normal, please let me the needful views on it, I did show his feet to our paediatrician,he clutched his feet fingers together, which were showing pink, he said it’s normal, also to mention, while checking his feet were warm as we was wrapped my baby in bed , attaching my baby’s nail beds pic. Please let me know is it normal?

A. in your case a medical examination is required for proper diagnosis and treatment. difficult to tell without examination whether it is normal or not. advisable to remain in contact with your doctor for proper guidance and treatment meet dr for child's examination for nails as well as body system
