Q.

hi Dr my boy 2 months he is shivering his feet and somes lower lip also doctor suggested calcium but still he shivering sometimes what is reason dr

A. shivering in newborn can be due to startle reflex and less likely due to calcium deficiency. dkindly continue to give breastfeeding to the child and take a video of the shivering and meet your doctor who will tell you whether it is normal startle reflex or it is due to hypocalcemia. d

A. no need to get stress it happens in some babies who have calcium deficiency. once consult pediatric. happy parenting

A. hello there is no improvement then it would require for the medical investigation so it is better to check with your doctor and she will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advice you accordingly which would be better and also safe and nothing to worry about
