Q.

Hi Dr My baby boy is 21 months old,He is active and understand everything like if he has to go out he start crying or show me the way and he know what is fan or if she needs some thing he do some actions to make us u understand but we are concerned he dnt speak as I mummer few things but dnt speak and one of the doctor said this could be autism..I am just concerned why he bas referred like this as when I read about autism that I opposite to my baby actions...and also he just recommended a may be autism in 20 seconds ...do u think it is genuine.. pls help us

A. it is important to meet the doctor to get the child examined. milestones assessment of the child needs to be done which will tell whether the child is having any development delay or not.d the child will be assessed for four major milestones that is 1.gross motor milesdtone 2.fine motor milestone 3.social milestone 4.language milestone.

A. symptoms of autism Delayed language skills. Delayed movement skills. Delayed cognitive or learning skills. Hyperactive, impulsive, and/or inattentive behavior. Epilepsy or seizure disorder. Unusual eating and sleeping habits. Unusual mood or emotional reactions.
