Q.

Hi Dr. I have conceived on 18th Feb 2021 and yesterday I spotted a brownish spot on my panty.There was no further bleeding. Today while I was using washroom I noticed one drop of brownish blood at the end.also when I checked there was some brownish deposits in private area but there is no free flow or spotting.I am worried.please tell is it normal.Also to mention, I have no pregnancy symptoms till now.

A. The bleeding could happen because of multiple reasons. It could happen if there is hormonal deficiency or it could happen if there is any subchorionic hematoma or it could also happen in case of a threatened abortion. Consult your doctor

A. Bleeding and spotting from the vagina during pregnancy are common. Up to 1 out of 4 (up to 25%) of all pregnant women have some bleeding or spotting during their pregnancy.
