Q.

Hi does any body face loose stool issu after staring Aptamil stage 1 formula feed. I see my 3 month old kid is passing loose stool though she is passing it twice in a day only. Stool having mucus as well

A. My kid does not have any fever or neither vomiting. Stool routine does not shoe any infection and mucus present. I stopped aptamil currently on nan excella pro. Watery stool has been stopped but still stools are loose sometime with mucus. Any advise please? Also stolks ar having too much milk solid like grain. Does it a symptoms of lactose intollerance? She is also not gaing good weight currently 5.1 age 3 month 10 days

A. yLoose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with managemfrent for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

A. If. You can see mucus into the school of the child and mostly it could be a sign of stomach infection as well I wouldn’t advise you to just take it lightly you should just consult your paediatrician ones if it is an infection that needs to be taken care of will advise you with the right medicine to go for
