hi doctor, now I'm 37 weeks pregnant and presently I'm not taking calcium, iron tablets. does it cause any problem to my kid.

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. the supplements if not taken during first and second trimester does not affect but during third trimester yes you have to take medicines very necessary so as to give proper nutrition for baby growth

NikithaMom of a 11 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. hello during pregnancy usually folic tablets is given and in regards to others supplement calcium or iron it is given only if it is needed so better to check with your gynecologist and she will be advising you accordingly if needed then you will have to take it
