Q.

Hi doctor my son is about to be one in a week.. he had viral fever for past two weeks and cured.. as aresult of which he got cold and cough.. his physician prescribed Allegra syrup.. he was better and again started cold symptoms..do I need to continue this syrup or not.. also he is not taking foods.. he shows vomitting signs while giving food..pls advise

A. hi dear Although many types of viruses can cause a common cold, rhinoviruses are the most common cause. A cold virus enters your body through your mouth, eyes or nose. The virus can spread through droplets in the air when someone who is sick coughs, sneezes or talks.
