Q.

hi doctor, my son is 5 months old now, now a days my breast milk was reduced so I am taking lactare tablet 3 times a day... since how long can I continue to take lactare tablet.... please confirm...also can I take 6 lactare tablet?is it safe..lll please advice

A. usually it contains Ayurvedic preparations so there should not be any problem but at the end it is advisable not to take any type of medicine continuously but rely on natural forms of food like regular vegetables fruits milk and water cereals and pulses which again help in increasing the milk formation

A. Hello mom Three tablets in a day is more than enough and there is no need to increase the quantity of tablets. You can continue taking the tablets till you are breastfeeding your baby. And if you are not getting sufficient milk then you can start giving formula milk. Formula milk is the Best alternative of mother’s milk and once your baby turned six months old and you can also start giving solids and water
