hi doctor, my son is 23 months old. he is not speaking yet...he understands everything we say, he is unable to speak back. he gives eye contact, responds to his name, everything is fine. he is trying to speak little bit now a days. is this any red flag regarding speech delay. please let me know what can I do

A. is the baby speaking the basic words.. at 1 yr babies speak the basic words as papa baba dada at 2 to 3 yrs baby strts speaking keep encouraging as break the words and sentences and let the baby repeat after u let the baby mingle same age grps
