HomeQuestions & AnswersHi Doctor,
My son is 1.5 months old and has a mild cold and cough. The doctor has prescribed Zyrtec syrup for his cold and Soventus syrup for his cough, both at a dosage of 2.5 ml. Zyrtec is to be given only at night, while Soventus should be administered three times a day.
He is currently also taking multivitamins and digestion supplements (Unienzyme Plus).
I would like to know if it is safe to continue giving him the multivitamins and digestion supplements along with the cold medications.
Please reply.

Yes yes of course multivitamins or any other supplements as it has been advised to be given to the child for as long as you can or suggested you should continue with that it has got no connection with the medicines that you were giving right now and digestion medicines are also proper if it has been suggested by the doctor
