Sapna KhannaMom of a 4 yr 3 m old boy3 years agoA. Hey my baby faced same issue. Follow these tips:
1. Pour 2-3 drops of saline to your baby’s each nostril. Repeat every 3 hrs. This is completely safe and easily available at medical stores.
2. Offer finely mashed chikoo fruit (sapota) to your baby. This fruit helps cure cold in babies and even good for weight gain too.
3. Give your baby warm bath and use water tub for this. Make sure the water touches your baby’s chest. Doing this will add relief to your baby.
4. Please buy a Nasal Aspirator or suction bulb. Clear your baby’s nose with it as and when required. This is quite easy to use and very helpful. However, baby does not easily let you use it. Baby will cry a little. But, trust me this will help a lot. This is even helpful when ur baby’s nostrill fills with vomit.
5. Buy baby vicks rub. Apply on ur baby’s chest and on the sole of feet in the night during sleep time. Make sure you cover baby’s feet with socks after applying vicks baby rub.

Give drops maxtra 0.5 ml two times per day to the child and can be given maximum three e times per day and give nasal saline drops every 4 hourly to the child. Meet your doctor if there is no improvement in few days and go for home remedies like Tulsi ginger water and turmeric with milk
