Q.

hi doctor....my baby is not taking direct feeding... im trying to latch her and feed but she refuses and doesnt suck my nipple.... even if she is not taking direct feeding i love to give only my breast milk..... but eventhough i take all food and medicine to increase my lactation i cant express more than 120ml in a day..... im totally depressed.... please do help me

A. thank you dr.Ghouse....i need a small suggestion im taking lactare as 2 capsules for thrice the time in a day.... shall i continue ....

A. please take lactare capsules to capsule three times a day along with adequate milk and fruit juices Further it is advisable to consult your local doctor for appropriate advice in this regard if there is need for investigations also

A. kindly do not feel depressed and continue your efforts very important to see that position and attachment while breastfeeding the child is proper. if improper the child will continue to suck for long hrs without getting any milk meet lactational counsellor who will guide regarding this. see videos on you tube for breastfeeding position attachment. take plenty of water, home made diet, seasonal fruits and vegetables, milk for increasing breast milk. take 15 to 30 days weight and growth assessment by the doctor.
