Q.

Hi Doctor, My baby is 6 week old now and today she vaccinated with painless vaccine but she got swelling and pain also …. She crying and her cry is totally diff from other day … I can see she is very uncomfortable. Please let me know in painless vaccine also give pain and swelling?

A. application of ice fomentation over there is imp regarding this concern further you can dicuss with the doctor if any such queries or doubts are there it will be cleared . your doctor will give guidance as needed.

A. U Don’t rub ice cube on to the area where your child has got vaccination that will help in settling down the swelling also little bit of a pain and fever is definitely normal and common with even painless vaccination so if the pain is much and fever is not there yet you can give paracetamol to the child and you can repeat it after six hours if it is required
