Hi Doctor, my baby is 6 months old. She rubs her eyes frequently and sometimes they turn red and get carry bags under their eyes. please advise on this

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. swelling under the eyes are usually normal appearance during the morning time and as soon as the day progresses the swelling goes away.
no treatment is required in this case.
if it is increasing in intensity or itching or is present throughout the day you have to rule out allergy infection.
kindly maintain hygiene of the eyes and clean it with with clean water.
normally simple secretions / allergy redness should not occur again and again.
use hygienic cloth as well as your hands should be clean when coming in contact with the child eyes
if the child's eyes is sticky with pus discharge or regular discharge cominsg out you have to meet the doctor. examination is needed in case on eye infection .
do not use any drops witout medical consultation
