Q.

hi doctor, my baby is 3.5 month old .her birth weight was 2.600 grams .but now she is 6.800 grams.is it normal weight?

A. the weight of the child is good enough no need to worry and if the weight gain is more than 500 grams per month then it is considered as adequate weight gain

A. Hello dear parent! There should be a minimum weight gain of 400gms in a month. Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby well on demand for better health, nutrition and hydration. It is said to be ideal if the baby doubles its birth weight by 6 months. Good luck and take care.
