Hi Doctor, My baby is 11 months old now and she is on formula feeding right form the birth,and before strting solids she used to pass the stool in dark green color and when I have started giving solids it got reduced but still sometimes she passes the stool in dark green color is this normal?

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. yeah.. it is normal . the important is the consistency of it.. if the stool is paste like, soft, & baby is putting on weight than dark green poop is normal.

Yea quite normal. .if the poo consistency is watery or foamy or smelly then check for baby's intake that should be the problem and treat it accordingly And change baby's food or other food intake. Also ensure to give digestion medicines asking your doctor. Otherwise if consistency is fine no issues dojt worry about color
