Q.

Hi doctor, my 3 months old baby need to be vaccinated, and the chart has the vaccine name as PCV, I had attached a picture with PCV and PNEUMOCOCCAL POLYSACCHARIDE conjugate vaccine, please advice both are same vaccine or not and advice can we use this for 3 months old baby

A. These two vaccinations are same but have some biological changes in structure only

A. Hello, your baby boy is 3 months old and if you want to give him a pneumonia protection then you should give him PCV13 vaccinations three primary doses and one booster dose

A. sorry mam it is two months prevenar 13 is given to child at two four six twelve and at completion of fifteen months

A. Hi parent both are same and given against same microbes but pvc is giving first but second one is given after completing two years I suggest you please once consult with your pediatrician about this matter because he can explain it properly
