#asktheexpert Hi doctor... My baby is 4 months old and vaccinated as per schedule till now. But we didn't gave her PCV vaccine yet. please guide us when should we take the PCV vaccine and the required time gap between 3 doses... Thanking you

A. Thanks Docter. can you please provide the detailed schedule. it is not clear or confusing on the internet. should this be 2 doses or 4 doses? please note that my child is 10 months old and he is not vaccinated with PCV vaccine till now

A. PCV vaccine is very important for the child as it protects against different kinds of pneumonia occurring in the children so you can consult your pediatrician regarding this and give the vaccine
