Hi doctor, I’m 3 weeks pregnant, is it recommended 5mg follicle acid tablet every day?

A. yes Folic acid is very necessary to be taken during pregnancy as it helps to maintain the pregnancy as well as to avoid defects in babies for example down syndrome

A. Folic acid is meant to be taken for initial nine months of your pregnancy itself and you can quit when you’re almost close to your delivery time otherwise you should take it once in a day or twice as per your doctors recommendation with whatever supplement your doctors advised you to take
