Q.

hi doctor, I have a 4 months completed baby, she suffering with cold from 10 days, we consulted doctor and he prescribed antibiotic medicine monocef o, we used 5 days that medicine but she not cured from cold, is it mixed excess water in antibiotic she not cured ?that medicine remained for another 5 days, it will use for another five please suggest me.

A. kindly continue the medicine given by your doctor and take a follow up after 3 days of starting medicine. follow up is also required because the doctor will tell you whether you have to continue thed same medicines or there will be changed in the medicines . x

A. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritabilituy could be a feature of viguuural infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given. along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given. steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.
