hi doctor .am 10 weeks pregnant now. and i am having sugar levels of 115 n below in fasting. and after eating am having 160-170 . so my gynic prescribed to take metformin 500mg 3 times a day.. and my diabetologyst told me to take insulin of 4 units in morning and evening and 6 units in the afternoon. so which one is best to take? is metformin safe during pregnancy?

A. better to take insulin for further advise and information in this regard it is advisable to consult your local doctor for proper examination physically and if all required any investigations also and proper management
